Protect, Love, and Hope by Kori | Written 6/5/17

Hold him close,
whisper encouragement.
Remind him he won’t be his mother.
Remind him he isn’t his father.
Let your words be soft.

Hold him close,
but don’t shield him from the world.
Let him feel it.
Let him know its harsh,
but be in his corner.
