The Moon Is Empty by Kori Written 1/27/17

I’ll let my fingers rest,

my poor keyboard has had enough.

I shall sit and observe the moon,

I’ve never done that before.

Is there anybody out there?

Come and get me,

poke me,

test me.

I sigh of the desire of a calm sleep,

I need to give my fingers a rest,

Is there anyone out there?

Please rescue me.
